At our 'office' we have a one-acre market garden and orchard, operated on organic permaculture principles to preserve our soil microbiome.
The garden itself provides fruit, vegetables and seedlings for our 24 Carrot Gardens schools—last summer we distributed 900kg of fruit and veg, and over five thousand seedlings. We also donate produce to the local food bank.
This market garden is run by our talented Horticultural team using best organic practice.
Education and employment opportunities are a key part of the garden’s operations. Offering horticultural apprenticeships, work experience and casual employment.
We’re always looking to expand what we produce—we have nine beehives that produce honey and wax that goes into our Beauty Lab—and have many future plans for our beautiful site!
